Syntace wins CAPE EPIC. With Sauser and Stander.

At the first season highlight of the MTB stage races, the CAPE EPIC in South Africa, the team was able to bring home an outstanding overall win for Syntace. The duo Force 109 / Duraflite Carbon 318 had a huge lead on the 2nd placed team upon entering the destination of Lourensford and were able to take the win in 6 of the 8 stages. After 781Km and 16300m altitude Christoph Sauser and Burry Stander can be proud of successfully defending their title.

Burry Stander: "Twenty-seven minutes is big, but not only thanks to us. Our whole team and our equipment played a role…”

Christoph Sauser: "Every year the Cape Epic gets harder, the intensity is much higher. Our equipment made such a big difference. It helped us mentally to know that even though the stage is hard, our equipment will hold. .... This is my third victory overall in this race (2011 and 2006), and it’s a great feeling.”
